Describe your daily routine
My current daily routine is quite simple and regular. I usually wake up around 8:30 in the morning. I know that’s kind of late, but my job starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m., so it works well for me. After getting up, I wash my face, brush my teeth, have breakfast, and then study either French or English for about an hour.
After that, I walk to work. It only takes five minutes, which might sound surprising, but my workplace is actually in a mall very close to where I live. I feel really lucky to have such a short commute — it makes going to work much less stressful.
During lunch break, I usually eat in the food court downstairs in the mall. After work, I go back home and have dinner. Most of the time I cook for myself, but if I feel lazy, I’ll just eat some frozen dumplings or order takeout.
In the evening, if I’m not too tired, I’ll go to the gym in my condo building and do one hour of cardio. Later at night, depending on my mood, I might study French, do some video editing, or meet with my friends on Discord and play games together.
I’m also the kind of person who really enjoys a planned and peaceful routine. Honestly, I don’t like it when my schedule is suddenly interrupted. For example, if a friend suddenly texts me like, “Hey, wanna grab dinner tonight?” or “Let’s go to a movie tomorrow,” I’ll probably feel a bit uncomfortable. I prefer people to tell me in advance so I can mentally prepare. I know it sounds a bit weird, but that’s just who I am — I enjoy having control over my time.
On weekends, if I’m free, I love going out to explore the city. I usually bring my camera because photography is one of my hobbies. I really enjoy this kind of peaceful lifestyle — it may be simple, but it makes me feel happy and content.
